"“The Chosen Series helped my father-in-law understand Jesus in a way we could not describe to him. Leo suffered from a lifetime of physical, mental, emotional and spiritual illnesses. He moved in with our family in March of 2020, right at the beginning of the lockdown. He showed little interest in reading the Bible or praying. The devil had a hold on him but we never stopped believing God would heal him.
A friend told us about your show, she was so excited and so animated when she talked about it, we had to check it out. We invited my father-in-law to watch it with us but we had no expectations. You can imagine our shock when he not only watched the first episode with us but he was interested and excited to see more. The following day he was asking ‘Can we watch another episode of that Jesus show?’ And it was like this each day until we watched the full first season together. He asked questions and was amazed at Jesus the God and Jesus the Man. It sparked something in him. He started attending our home church gatherings and even a men’s Bible study.
Sadly, my father-in-law passed away in August from heart failure after only 5 months living with our family. What we know is that he was happy and at peace for the first time that we had known him. Thank you for letting God lead you through the creation of this series. It is evident that God’s hand is in this and He will do the most miraculous things with it.”
